Doha:Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi emphasized the GCC's steadfast support for Yemen, particularly in efforts to maintain its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

According to Qatar News Agency, Albudaiwi conveyed this position during a phone conversation with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Abdulaziz Al Zouba. The discussion focused on the latest developments in Yemen amidst the rapidly changing regional circumstances.

Albudaiwi reiterated the crucial importance of Yemen's security and stability to that of the GCC countries and the broader region. He assured the continued backing of the GCC for Yemen and its citizens in striving for peace, a decent standard of living, and prosperity.
