Doha: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian attacks that targeted Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, alongside the targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, which resulted in the injury of a number of civilian workers in Kuwait.

According to Qatar News Agency, Albudaiwi stated that Iran's actions represent a highly dangerous escalation and a grave violation of international law and the United Nations (UN) Charter. He emphasized that these acts are war crimes that require international accountability and prosecution, highlighting the deliberate targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities in blatant disregard for international norms and conventions, with a persistent intent to destabilize regional security and stability.

The GCC Secretary General reaffirmed that the GCC stands united with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, supporting all measures they undertake to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
