Manama: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) affirmed on Saturday the full support of its member states for all measures taken by Bahrain to maintain its security and stability. GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi emphasized the importance of Bahrain's efforts in safeguarding its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens and residents.

According to Qatar News Agency, AlBudaiwi commended the significant efforts undertaken by Bahrain's security services, which led to the uncovering of an organization linked to Iran. In his statement, he assured that the GCC member states will remain united in confronting terrorism and will continue to enhance the collective security system across the region.

AlBudaiwi reiterated that the GCC is committed to supporting Bahrain in confronting any party attempting to undermine its security. He emphasized the council's dedication to consolidating security and stability throughout the GCC countries, highlighting the importance of cooperation among member states to address regional challenges.
