The government media office in Gaza said Saturday that Israel is spreading falsehood, lies and rumors to justify the horrifying massacre in Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, in which at least 71 people died and 289 were wounded. The occupation army spreads unfounded false news, lies and rumors in its claim that it was targeting Palestinian leaders, it said in a statement. It held the Israeli occupation army and the US administration fully responsible for the ongoing massacres against civilians, and the use of media misinformation and fake news to mislead public opinion. The media office called on the international community, the United Nations, international organizations and world countries to put pressure on Israel and the US administration to stop the bloodshed and genocidal war in Gaza, and prosecute the occupying power.
