The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that its information center recorded the death of 413 citizens, including 78 children and 41 women, in addition to recording 2,300 injuries, including 213 children and 140 women.At least 8 massacres have been recorded so far against families, claiming the lives of about 54 citizens, a ministry statement said Sunday evening.”The intensification of the Israeli aggression increases the complexity of the health situation, as we suffer from a large shortage of medicines, medical consumables, and fuel as a result of the Israeli siege,” the ministry said.The ministry warned that the ongoing electricity crisis poses a challenge to the health system and a threat to the lives of hundreds of wounded and sick people in sensitive departments.It added that the technical and engineering crews are working around the clock to ensure that the electrical generators that require 40,000 liters of diesel per day are operating, in the event of a 12-hour power outage, which is estimated a
t one million liters of diesel per month.It called on the international community and relevant parties to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to restart the electricity lines because of the danger it poses to the health and humanitarian system.”We need urgent action from various parties to support our emergency needs for medicines, medical consumables, fuel, and high-capacity electrical generators,” The ministry concluded.
