French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, who is currently visiting France, developments in the Middle East. The two ministers discussed efforts to stop the dangerous escalation in the region, reach an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and end Israel's escalatory measures against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The two ministers also discussed ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations in all fields, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
