Beirut: Five people were killed and three others wounded in Israeli airstrikes Thursday evening on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
According to Qatar News Agency, Lebanon's National News Agency reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a car in the town of Bint Jbeil, resulting in three fatalities and three injuries. Additionally, an Israeli drone bombed a road in the town of Ain Ebel.
The agency further reported that two individuals lost their lives in an airstrike at the Rafik Hariri University complex in the Hadath area of Baabda district in Beirut's southern suburbs.
Earlier Thursday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 687, with 1,774 wounded, since March 2.
