Doha:Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held discussions with Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili during Khutsishvili's visit to Doha for the 2026 Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Annual Meeting.

According to Qatar News Agency, the talks focused on enhancing bilateral relations in areas such as economy, investment, and trade, as well as exploring opportunities for joint work between Qatar and Georgia.

In addition, Minister Al Kuwari met with Paul Chan Mo-po, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), who is also in Doha for the AIIB Annual Meeting. Their meeting addressed cooperation in investment, finance, and economy, and discussed several topics of mutual interest.
