FIFA World Cup SSOC’s Unified Medical Center Inaugurated at Lekhwiya Force Headquarters

HE Major General Abdul Aziz bin Faisal Al Thani, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Commander of Lekhwiya Force, inaugurated yesterday the Unified Medical Center of the Security and Safety Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at the Lekhwiya Force headquarters.

 

The Center, which is composed of five outpatient clinics outside the headquarters, as well as ambulance services to transport critical cases to Hamad General Hospital, will provide primary health care to the Committee’s affiliates from government entities (MOI, Ministry of Defense, and Lekhwiya Force), as well as to participants helping to secure the tournament from sisterly and friendly countries.

 

In a news statement on this occasion, HE Major General Abdul Aziz Al Thani expressed his thanks for the efforts made by all parties to harness the best medical care for the SSOC affiliates of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the guests from sisterly and friendly countries. He stressed the need to double efforts during the tournament to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical service to everyone.
