FC Barcelona has signed Senegalese center back Mikayil Faye, the Spanish club said in a statement on Monday.

The 18-year-old, coming from Croatia's NK Kostosija Zagreb, signed a four-year contract that lasts until June 30, 2027.

The player will have a buy-out clause of EUR 400 million.

He has already passed the required medical tests at the Barcelona Hospital, the Club's statement said.
