HE Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the national committee for hosting the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie stressed that the honoring of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani by opening the activities of the exhibition is a culmination to the efforts made in the preparation and organizing of this significant exhibition that is held in the region for the first time in history.
His Excellency described the opening ceremony as distinguished, thanking the wise leadership for supporting all initiatives and efforts aimed at hosting international mega activities and exhibitions that consolidate Qatar’s stance as a leading global center and forum.
His Excellency pointed out that Qatar’s hosting of the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha reflects confidence in its ability to organize mega events that would support the national economy, especially in light of the significant capabilities that characterize the country, noting that interest in exhibition tourism wi
ll, in turn, contribute to supporting the growth and prosperity of this sector during the coming period.
His Excellency indicated that the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha represents a unique opportunity to shed light on the State of Qatar’s commitment to sustainability and combating climate change, adding that it will also be a catalyst for international investments and the launch of innovative initiatives to develop solutions that enhance international efforts toward building a more sustainable future.
