EIGHT STUDENTS FROM THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT PRESENT THEIR RESEARCH GRADUATION PROJECTS

A total of eight students from the Public Health Department presented their research graduation projects on the 19th of May, 2022.

 

Ms. Lama Al-jindi and Ms Naeema Al-Sulaiman presented their research project entitled “Barriers to Tobacco Cessation Services among Qatar University Students: A Qualitative Approach” which was supervised by Dr. Ghadir Aljayyousi. The second project was supervised by Dr Mohammed Fasih Alam which was presented by Ms. Fatemeh Nejad, Ms. Roudha Alnasr, and Ms. Aisha Alansari who were interested in predicting Sepsis from ICU clinical data using artificial intelligent based machine learning model. Dr. Alam also supervised the last project entitled “Covid19 infections and deaths in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries: trends and associated socio-economic and interventional factors”. The project was presented by Ms. Fatimah Alkhowar, Ms. Shouq Al-Mohannadi, and Ms. Manal Al-Mansoori.
