Cairo: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Cairo to discuss the latest regional developments. The talks focused on coordinating positions concerning the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, with both leaders emphasizing the urgency of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and unrestricted humanitarian aid access. They drew attention to the outcomes of the recent Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit held in Riyadh. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted the importance of the upcoming Gaza Humanitarian Response Support Conference, scheduled to take place on December 2 in Cairo. The leaders called upon the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring the delivery of aid to Gaza. They emphasized the crucial role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in this context. Both leaders strongly rejected any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause or displace Palestinians from their lands. They reaffirmed the necessity of establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
