Doha: Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met Thursday with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, who is currently visiting Egypt. They discussed several issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, particularly investment opportunities in Egypt.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the Egyptian Prime Minister said that a joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti working group has been formed to hold consultations on promising investment opportunities in several sectors. He also noted that the Egyptian and Kuwaiti sides have reached a preliminary agreement on a number of proposed investment opportunities.
For his part, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, said that his visit to Egypt is a continuation of the series of reciprocal visits between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti sides, both at the political leadership level and at the level of the two countries’ heads of government, in order to solidify the strong relations between them.
