Doha: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty and his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrot, discussed the latest regional developments and ways to de-escalate tensions in the region, during a phone call on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultations over the coming period. This decision reflects the important roles both Egypt and France play in supporting regional stability. They aim to promote the resolution of crises through political and diplomatic means, contributing to enhanced security and peace in the Middle East.
