Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty engaged in significant discussions with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita and Estonian Parliament Speaker Lauri Hussar during two separate meetings held in Cairo. These talks were part of ongoing efforts to address pressing regional developments and bilateral relations.
According to Qatar News Agency, Abdelatty also conducted telephone conversations with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul and his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand. The focus of these conversations was on regional issues of mutual concern, particularly the escalating military tensions and their potential dangerous repercussions.
During these discussions, the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of de-escalation and the continuation of diplomatic efforts and dialogue as crucial measures to manage the current situation. Abdelatty reiterated the necessity of these diplomatic avenues to preserve regional security and stability amidst growing tensions.
