Earthquake of 4.1 Magnitude Hits Turkey’s Antalya

An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 shook Turkey’s southern province of Antalya on Tuesday.

According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the new tremor was at a depth of about seven kilometers in Dosemealti district.

On Monday, a 4.2-magnitude tremor shook the southern province of Malatya.

On Feb. 6, a 7.8-magnitude quake followed by thousands of aftershocks rocked southern Turkey and northern Syria, leaving tens of thousands of casualties and causing catastrophic damage to buildings in the two countries. (QNA)
