Doha: The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation organized three sessions on the second day of the 12th edition of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE 12) in 2025. These sessions addressed equitable access to quality education through digital tools, education for displaced and refugee youth, and the future of green entrepreneurship, highlighting the Foundation's focus on innovative learning environments that empower young people and enhance community resilience.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session titled "From Data to Dignity: Technology and the Right to Education" was presented by the Educate A Child (EAC) and Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC) Programmes and the Innovation Development Programme at EAA Foundation. The session delved into the role of digital technologies, AI-enabled tools, and ethical data systems in safeguarding learners' rights, monitoring education-related attacks, and expanding access to safe and inclusive learning environments.
Participants noted the growing partnerships between EAA Foundation, UNICEF, and UNDP, which promote a data-driven approach that balances innovation with dignity, privacy, and equity in education.
The Strategy, Policy, and Research Department, along with Al Fakhoora Programme, organized another session titled "From Camps to Universities: Policies, Partnerships, and Pathways to Higher Education". This session highlighted global models that enable displaced and refugee youth, especially women, to access higher education and transition from crisis situations to stable educational pathways.
The session underscored the significant role of higher education in restoring dignity, expanding opportunities, and fostering long-term resilience in communities impacted by forced displacement. Discussions included insights from the International Institute of Education, the International Teachers' Association, the International Academic Forum, and the Foundation's Public Policy Observatory.
The third session, "Preparing for the Future: AI, Education, and Green Entrepreneurship for Youth", was presented by the Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme. This session examined the influence of digital transformation and climate-linked innovation on the future of work, exploring how AI can enhance youth economic empowerment, provide climate-sensitive solutions, and open new pathways for green entrepreneurship.
The session emphasized the need to equip young people with the skills and opportunities essential for thriving in rapidly changing labor markets and innovative economic environments.
Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of the Economic Empowerment Sector at EAA Foundation, stated that the sessions reflect the essence of the Foundation's mission to integrate technology, education, and economic opportunities to protect the right to learn and empower young people. He mentioned that sessions like "From Data to Dignity", "From Camps to Universities", and "Preparing for the Future" offer practical solutions for the most vulnerable learners to access safe digital environments, transition to higher education, and progress from learning to earning.
He stressed that these discussions affirm the Foundation's belief that human values should guide innovation, and that education remains the most potent tool for building inclusive, resilient, and future-ready communities.
Through its second-day sessions at WISE 12, EAA Foundation reiterated its global mission to support inclusive, innovative, and human-centred education. By promoting digital rights, expanding higher-education pathways, and supporting climate-adaptive green entrepreneurship, the Foundation continues to enable young people, particularly those most marginalized, to access opportunities, build resilience, and shape a promising future.
