Doha: The dollar held steady Monday following the conclusion of the first round of talks between the United States and Iran. The British pound fell 0.21% to $1.32103, while the euro pared earlier losses to $1.14647. The risk-sensitive Australian dollar held steady at $0.7011 after falling earlier in the session. The New Zealand dollar last traded at $0.573.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Japanese yen weakened to 161.55 against the dollar, remaining close to its two-year low reached last week. A move above 161.96 would mark its weakest level since 1986.
