Dollar Drifts near Two-Week Low Ahead of Inflation Data

The dollar was little changed but hovering near a two-week low on Thursday as investors awaited key US inflation data.

The dollar index, which measures the US currency against six rivals, was at 105.64, not far from 105.55, its lowest since Sept. 25 that was touched on Wednesday.

The yield on 10-year Treasury notes was down 2.4 basis points to 4.573%. It hit its highest since 2007 last week at 4.887%.

The euro was up 0.08% at $1.0628, after touching an over two-week high on Wednesday.

The Japanese yen was mostly flat at 149.16 per dollar, while sterling was last at $1.2317.

The Australian dollar rose 0.09% to $0.6419, while the kiwi eased 0.09% to $0.6014.
