Doha:Al Gharafa Beach Volleyball Centre is set to host the third round of the West Asia Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tour from Tuesday through October 9, featuring 15 teams representing Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar will enter six teams in the competition. The men's teams include Qatar 1, composed of Moussa El Khair and Mohamed Ihab, and Qatar 2, featuring Saif Al Majeed and Mahmoud Essam. The women's teams include four pairs, such as Qatar 1 with Haya Abu Issa and Laila Mohamed, and Qatar 2 with Shaghaf Ismail and Malak Hashim.
Following the regional tour, the same venue will host the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Doha Open from October 10 to 13, providing a full week of continental beach volleyball action in the Qatari capital.
