Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) has announced temporary closure of the Doha Metro services during Fridays and during the blessed Eid Holidays. Doha Metro services will be suspended on Fridays between 9 July and 13 August 2021, and during the blessed Eid holidays between 21 and 24 July 2021.
During this period, Qatar Rail will conduct essential upgrades of the Doha Metro network systems. The upgrades aim at increasing the network’s capacity and its operational capability by increasing the number of trains, which will enhance the service provided to customers in the future.
