HE Director of Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater met separately today with officials in the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels.

The meetings included the Head of Policy Planning and Strategic Foresight at the European External Action Service (EEAS) Herve Delphin, the Director of the Asia and Pacific Department Paola Pampaloni, Deputy Management Director for the Americas in EEAS Javier Nino Perez, the Deputy Head of the Political Planning and Strategic Foresight Department Alexanros Jans and Deputy Head of Division – EEAS IV.A.5 – Arabian Peninsula, Iran, Iraq Zuzana Michalcova Sutiakova.

During the meetings, the close bilateral ties between the state of Qatar and European Union were reviewed, in addition to ways of strengthening these ties, and exchanging points of view pertaining to the latest regional and international developments.

The meetings were attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
