Amman — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, held a meeting on Monday with the US Special Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs in the Middle East, David Satterfield.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting centered on strengthening efforts to bring an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Safadi emphasized the need for implementing mechanisms to ensure consistent and uninterrupted delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip. He stated that withholding essential items such as food and medication from Gazans is considered a war crime under international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention, along with its 1977 Annex.
