HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Saifuddin Abdullah at the ministry’s headquarters in Putrajaya, during His Excellency’s visit to Malaysia.
The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral cooperation, particularly enhancing investments in the fields of food security, Islamic finance and the digital economy, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, led by developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, developments of the nuclear issue, and developments in Afghanistan.
The meeting also dealt with the State of Qatar’s preparations to hold the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
