Mahra Ali Al-Shaya, Deputy Chief of Mission at the UAE Embassy in Bucharest, met with HE Virgil-Daniel Popescu, Romanian Minister of Energy, to discuss bilateral relations and a number of files of common interest.
During the meeting, both parties emphasized their mutual interest in developing cooperation by identifying joint opportunities and projects, especially in the energy field.
His Excellency Popescu affirmed the keenness of the Romanian Ministry of Energy to provide all forms of support to strengthen and elevate UAE-Romanian relations.
In turn, Al-Shaya underscored the UAE’s aspiration to continue developing bilateral cooperation and enhance communication for the benefit of the two countries.
