Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be misty to foggy at places at first, hot and humid daytime with some clouds at times the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places at first. Offshore, it will be misty at first, and hazy with some clouds at times.
According to Qatar News Agency, winds inshore will be variable at first, shifting to Northwesterly-Northeasterly at 05-15 KT, gusting to 24 KT during the daytime. Offshore winds will be variable at first, shifting to Northeasterly-Southeasterly at 02-12 KT, reaching up to 18 KT in Eastern areas.
The sea state inshore will be between 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will range from 1 to 3 feet, rising to 5 feet in Eastern areas. Visibility inshore will range from 4 to 9 kilometers, dropping to 1 kilometer or less in certain areas initially, while offshore visibility will be between 4 to 9 kilometers, reducing to 3 kilometers or less at first.
