Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning regarding weather conditions for Thursday, predicting hot to very hot temperatures during the day, with occasional slight dust. The department emphasized the potential for strong winds throughout the daytime hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, the offshore conditions are expected to be generally fine, though there is a warning for strong winds and high seas. Winds inshore are anticipated to be from the northwest at speeds of 10 to 20 knots, with gusts up to 30 knots during the day. Offshore winds are forecasted to be northwesterly at 14 to 24 knots, with potential gusts reaching 33 knots.
Sea conditions inshore are projected to range from 3 to 5 feet, while offshore conditions could range from 4 to 8 feet, with the possibility of rising to 11 feet at times. Visibility inshore is expected to be between 4 to 9 kilometers, and offshore visibility is predicted to range from 5 to 9 kilometers.
