Dadu Museum Offers Family-Oriented Activities at Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha

DOHA — Qatar Museums is participating in Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha via its Dadu Museum, offering a selection of curated activities designed to strengthen family bonds and provide educational experiences for children.

According to a new release by Qatar News Agency, the Dadu Gardens Adventures welcomes visitors from Thursday to Saturday. These activities are targeted at children aged 12 and under and include a range of hands-on experiences such as creating art from natural materials, understanding the ecosystem of worms, and exploring the basics of gardening and recycling. These activities align with the overarching theme of Expo 2023 Doha, “Green Desert, Better Environment,” emphasizing elements of sustainability, well-being, and technology.

The Dadu Garden spans 14,500 square meters and functions as a living classroom. It employs nature-driven interactive play to foster children’s physical, social, and emotional development. Children and families visiting the Expo can learn about nutrition, health, the environment, and earth sciences, among other subjects. The garden also provides opportunities to grow important fruits and herbs native to the region.

The Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha serves as a gathering place for various Qatari cultural and educational institutions, offering attendees an expansive cultural itinerary. Visitors can explore a wealth of information and heritage, from the renowned Museum of Islamic Art to the upcoming Lusail Museum.
