Doha:The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) has entered into a funding agreement with Qatar Foundation to support the Al Ghorrah for Literature and Arts 2027 event. This collaboration aims to enhance cultural engagement, foster artistic talent, and facilitate cultural exchange through financial contributions from DAAM.

According to Qatar News Agency, DAAM Director of Programs Hassan Yousef Al Obaidli expressed satisfaction in backing Al Ghorrah for the second time, highlighting its significance in enriching Qatar's cultural scene. Al Obaidli emphasized that this support aligns with the Fund's mission to promote events that integrate heritage and creativity, while showcasing the literary and artistic achievements of Arab and Islamic civilizations to future generations.

Qatar Foundation has also conveyed its pride in partnering with DAAM, aiming to continue their collaboration to enrich the cultural environment and expand opportunities for creativity, dialogue, and knowledge exchange.

Al Ghorrah for Literature and Arts serves as a platform celebrating the cultural heritage of Arab and Islamic civilizations. It features a diverse program that includes poetry, music, theater, and the arts, offering a venue for cultural engagement and showcasing both emerging and established talents. This event is instrumental in promoting dialogue and communication among various communities, strengthening the presence of Arab and Islamic culture.

The agreement is part of DAAM's efforts, along with public shareholding companies on the Qatar Stock Exchange, to support cultural initiatives and sustainable development in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
