CSGDB: 1841 citizens have been employed in government and private sectors

The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CSGDB) announced the results of this year’s third quarter regarding the number of national cadres that were employed in the country through the National Employment Platform “Kawader”.

 

Employment statistics in Qatar showed that 1841 Qatari citizens have been employed, including 1238 employees in the government sector, among who were 855 females and 383 males. In addition, 603 Qataris have been employed in the private sector, among who were 318 females and 285 males. CSGDB confirmed the provision of 2580 jobs through the National Employment Platform “Kawader”, including 1856 jobs in the government sector and 622 jobs in the private sector.

 

CSGDB stressed that the most important majors required in the government sector are statistics, computer engineering, civil engineering, and cybersecurity, while the most important majors for the private sector are engineering, communications, finance, accounting, and information technology.
