CRA and RIPE NCC Collaborate to Enhance Qatar’s Internet Infrastructure Expertise

Doha:The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), in partnership with the RIPE NCC, has initiated a six-week training program aimed at bolstering national technical capabilities in the deployment of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) and enhancing Internet routing security. This program involves approximately 45 members of the Qatar IPv6 Taskforce and supports the CRA's mission to develop specialized skills to strengthen the security and resilience of Qatar's Internet infrastructure.

According to Qatar News Agency, the program targets representatives from stakeholders in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. It is delivered through the RIPE NCC Remote Learning Experience, which combines live online sessions with self-paced learning from the RIPE NCC Academy. Participants will have the opportunity to take a professional certification exam and earn a certificate upon passing.
