DOHA: Qatar’s Olympic coach Nicolas Cordova has announced the national squad for the U-23 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan from June 1-19, 2022.
Qatar’s U-23 team returned from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, after concluding a preparatory camp before entering the AFC U-23 Cup finals, which are scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan at the beginning of next month.
The squad: Ahmed Al-Janahi, Andrei Siahputra (Al-Gharafa), Salah Zakaria, Mohamed Al-Nuaimi (Al-Duhail), Jassem Jaber, Ahmed Suhail, Mahmoud Bundi (Al-Arabi), Osama Al-Tiri, Hashem Ali, Ali Mal Allah (Al-Rayyan), Abdul Rashid Ibrahim, Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, Jassem Al-Sharshani (Al-Ahly), Youssef Abdul-Razzaq, Mustafa Tariq, Faisal Mohammed (Al-Sadd), Youssef Ayman, Jassem Al Muhairi, Khaled Waleed (Qatar SC), Muhammad Ayyash (Al Wakra), Haroun Diab (Al Khor), Marwan Sharif (Al Shamal), Al Makki Mohsen (Al Kharaitiyat).
