Doha: The Houthi group has continued its nefarious attacks on Saudi national assets and infrastructure, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said Wednesday. Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Maj. Gen. Turki Al Malki said the group carried out offensives today against the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Jazan using several ballistic missiles and one-way attack drones.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Malki emphasized that the continuation of these assaults makes it evident that the Houthi group is escalating its campaign by targeting Saudi civilians. He highlighted that the Coalition Joint Forces Command is committed to responsibly fending off these attacks to protect Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, national assets, and civilians.
Al Malki assured that the coalition's actions align with the principle of self-defense under international law, Article 51 of the UN Charter, and international humanitarian law. The coalition remains steadfast in its efforts to shield civilian facilities from these attacks.
