The Civil Defence Council participates in the 9th Field Training Camp for Disaster Management organized by the Qatar Red Crescent Society at the Maritime Scout Headquarters in Al Khor for 10 days (from February 21 to March 2, 2023) under the slogan “Effective Preparation, Better Response.”

The camp includes 40 trainers and around 300 participants from government and non-governmental institutions, as well as Qatari Red Crescent volunteers who are trained in disaster management. In addition, representatives from Red Crescent societies in the Arab region, the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and several international humanitarian organizations are also participating in the camp.
