The AI-based prediction model has reduced the need for additional unnecessary surgeries by about 34.9 percent among registered patients, compared to current US guidelines. The re searchers stated that the model not only aids doctors in decision-making but also demonstrates the capabilities of AI-driven pathology imaging in predicting tumor behavior.
