China’s Kuaizhou-11 Rocket Successfully Deploys CentiSpace 05 Satellite Group

Doha: China successfully launched a Kuaizhou-11 rocket carrying a group of satellites into space Thursday morning. The rocket blasted off from its launch site in China and successfully sent its payload, the CentiSpace 05 satellite group, into the planned orbit. According to Qatar News Agency, the CentiSpace 05 satellites are equipped with satellite navigation enhancement systems in low Earth orbit. They will be used to monitor the performance of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), conduct navigation enhancement tests, and perform laser communication between satellites. The Kuaizhou-11 rocket is a solid-fuel launch vehicle developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). It has a payload capacity of approximately one ton and can carry payloads to a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 km.
