Doha:The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) has announced the commencement of the second cohort for its Associate of Business Administration program, specifically designed for inmates at the Ministry of Interior's Penal and Correctional Institutions. This new cohort will involve 20 students who will begin their studies in the Spring 2025-2026 semester.

According to Qatar News Agency, the program is supported by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in partnership with the Penal and Correctional Institutions Department. This initiative builds upon the success of the first cohort, which began in Autumn 2023 and celebrated its first six graduates in Spring 2026.

The program employs a blended learning model, which combines in-person teaching from visiting faculty with interactive online sessions, accommodating the unique environment of the correctional facilities.
