Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani, Medical Director at Hamad General Hospital, said that the abolition of the compulsory requirement for residents and Qatari returning travelers came into effect as of yesterday, but he advised prior registration to facilitate arrivals of citizens and residents at the airport, pointing out to the possibility of linking the platform with the e-portal to facilitate the traffic process into Qatar soon.

Dr. Al Maslamani said that the platform was launched for returnees to the country and contains the necessary information such as vaccination cards, PCR test, and registration of the rest of the family members, in order to facilitate the arrival of individuals at the airport and direct them to the fast track, so that they would not wait in queues to get the required papers reviewed upon entry.
