In its regular meeting held yesterday, the Cabinet, chaired by HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, approved a draft decision to amend some provisions of Resolution No. (3) of 2003 on the establishment of a permanent committee for the management of Abu Samra Border Crossing.

This Committee, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, is concerned with several specialties, including following up the progress of work at the border, supervising all the employees and border post staff, and working towards eliminating obstacles and impediments that hinder the proper performance of work at the border post.
