Bahrain receives certificate of registration of “date palm” on Islamic Heritage List

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Morocco received a certificate of registration of “date palm, knowledge, skills, traditions and practices” in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the list of heritage in the Islamic World,

This came during a ceremony organized by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) at its headquarters in Rabat.

The ceremony was attended by ISESCO Director General, Chairman of the Islamic World Heritage Committee, Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik, Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohammed Mahdi Bensaid.

Ambassadors and representatives of the ISESCO member states were also present. The award was received by the second secretary at the embassy, Faisal Hamada.
