Basra, Bahrain’s national football team overturned its delay to defeat Qatar with 2-1, in the match that brought them together at the Olympic Port Stadium in the second group within the second round of the 25th Gulf Championship.
Ahmed Alaa scored for Qatar in the 35th minute of the match, Kamil Al-Aswad equalized for Bahrain in the 73rd minute, and Abdullah Yousef scored the second goal for Bahrain from a penalty kick in the 88th minute.
