Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday morning.

According to Qatar News Agency, the General Command stated that Iran persists in its systematic hostile actions by carrying out attacks using missiles and drones aimed at civilians. The statement urged the public to exercise caution and to avoid interacting with any suspicious objects that may be remnants of the attacks, advising immediate reporting of such findings.

The General Command emphasized that all weapons systems and units are on high alert and fully prepared to handle and neutralize any threats to ensure the safety of all citizens and residents. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the highest level of readiness to protect Bahrain.

Highlighting the severity of the situation, the General Command condemned the targeting of civilians and private property with missiles and drones, labeling it as a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
