Houston: NASA announced that the Artemis II mission crew is preparing to fly around the moon aboard the Orion spacecraft by carrying out a series of final operations and technical tests, in the first manned flight to the moon in 53 years. According to Qatar News Agency, the agency explained that the crew carried out a maneuver to correct the vehicle's path in order to precisely adjust its direction towards the moon to ensure the flight path as planned. The crew also conducted a test of the spacesuits to ensure their readiness for the various stages of flight and their ability to provide protection during flight. This included wearing the suit, compressing it, and conducting leak tests. The tests also included simulating sitting inside the Orion vehicle and evaluating movement and the ability to perform basic tasks. NASA confirmed that the review of all final scientific objectives has been successfully completed, as part of direct preparations for the lunar phase. The "Artemis II" mission is part of the A rtemis program, through which NASA seeks to pave the way for a human landing on the moon in the coming years.
