Dr. Mohammad AlSmadi, Director of the Digital Learning and Online Education Office at Qatar University (QU), has disclosed approving academic courses via the blended learning system, since part of this system is face-to-face learning and the other one is online learning for the first time at QU.
Dr. Mohammad AlSmadi said: “QU is currently considering different methods to integrate digital learning and online education into its programs, starting from digitization-enhanced learning to blended learning and until we reach the complete remote learning.”
He pointed out that following the return to learning inside QU campus after the COVID-19 pandemic, QU has been offering for one year and half a number of online courses, which are completely taught remotely and the experience has yielded promising outcomes to move forward in this area.
