Al shahania: Al Shahania coach Santi Denia and Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 8 match, slated for Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, Coach Santi Denia emphasized the significance of the upcoming match against Al Sailiya, describing it as “very important” for his team. He highlighted the intense preparations made in recent weeks, focusing on crucial details that could influence the match’s outcome. Denia noted, “Every match is important for us and this match is worth six points. Every three points in any match are important for us because they increase the team’s points.” He further elaborated on the team’s training strategies, which include improving their own capabilities while analyzing their opponents.

In contrast, Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain expressed confidence in his team’s readiness following the last league round. He described the match against Al Shahania as “balanced on paper” and emphasized the team’s full preparation. Al Zain remarked, “We are fully prepared and the team is capable of delivering a performance that guarantees a positive result.” Recognizing the challenges his team faces as a new entrant in the tournament and currently sitting at the bottom of the standings, Al Zain stated their objective is to secure a victory and enhance their ranking.
