Al arabi: Al Arabi SC on Wednesday terminated contracts of Cameroonian striker Ekambi, Jordanian defender Yazan Al Naimat, and Qatari players Abdullah Maarfi and Ahmed Moein. According to Qatar News Agency, the club announced the end of the careers of Ekambi, Yazan, Maarfi, and Moein with its football team through a statement on its X account. The club extended its best wishes to the departing players for their future endeavors. Abdullah Maarfi's tenure with the team was notably the longest, spanning 15 years. In contrast, Ekambi, Yazan, and Ahmed Moein were more recent additions, having joined the team last season. In preparation for the upcoming 2026-2027 season, Al Arabi has commenced fitness training in Doha. The team is also set to travel to Spain for a training camp from July 19 to August 7. During this period, they will engage in five friendly matches against Spanish and Arab clubs as part of their preparation for the new season.
