The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) has released the air transport statistics for the month of May 2022, which reflected the state of the gradual recovery of the sector after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movement of aircraft at Hamad International Airport during the month of May 2022 increased by 36.8% compared to the same month last year. The number of passengers also increased by 196.1% compared to May 2021, while air freight and mail showed a decline of 13.7% compared to the same month of 2021.
