For the first time, passenger numbers at Hamad International Airport exceed the numbers recorded prior to COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary Air Transport data shows that the passenger number at Hamad International Airport in the month on May 2022 has exceeded the figures of the same month in 2019 prior to COVID-19 pandemic by about 17400 passenger to reach over 2.8 million passengers. It is a clear indication of the gradual recovery of air transport industry in Qatar and globally.
