Air Algerie Resumes Doha-Algiers Flights Boosting Connectivity

Doha:Air Algerie has resumed its nonstop flights between Doha and Algiers, enhancing travel options and strengthening Hamad International Airport's global air connectivity network.

According to Qatar News Agency, Air Algerie's return to Doha adds to the airport's partner airlines, bringing the total to 37, including Qatar Airways. The network now connects Doha to over 160 destinations worldwide.

The resumption follows a seven-month suspension due to weather and air safety issues in the region. Initially launching in the summer of 2022 with two weekly flights, Air Algerie's route now operates three times a week, with plans to increase to daily services from October 25 to accommodate growing demand.

This route is Air Algerie's 45th international destination and supports Hamad International Airport's growth as a major global hub, fostering tourism and economic exchange between Qatar and Algeria.
